Printer

The printer is an online output device.  From this, the output is printed on paper and presented.  The output taken on paper is called a hard copy.  Through this, the computer's signs are converted into the natural language (English, Hindi) and printed as hard copies.  There are two types of printers based on Printing Technology.

Impact Printer: -

They are printers.  Those who make sounds while printing.  That is why they are called impact printers.  There are two types of Impact printers.

  1. Solid Printer
  2. Dot Matrix Printer
Definition

  1. Solid Printer: - Daisy Wheel printer: - It is a solid font printer impact printer.  Its name is derived from Daisy Heal because its printing head shape is similar to Daisy's flower (Daisy).  The daisy wheel printer is a slow-speed printer but has good printing quality and clarity.  That is why it is used to print letters, hence it is also called a letter-quality printer. Its printing head has a wheel.  Each letter has a letter embossed on it, in which there is a small hammer that strikes the tricolor and the paper is behind the ribbon with a ribbon on which the letter is printed.  Wheel fumigation causes printing.  And while moving the wheel moves in its horizontal motion.
  2. Dot Matrix Printer: - Dot Matrix printer: - It is an impact printer.  Their print head has a matrix of pins.  Printing of paper is done by hitting the pins with these pins.  In it, letters are formed consisting of small dots.  Their printing head consists of a horizontal group of 9,14,18 or 24 pins.  Once in a while, the pin of a pen is taken out of the head and the dots are printed.  Whereby a letter is formed in many steps.  Thus the pitting goes ahead in the direction of the headline.  In this, the printing head is controlled by a computer.  Their printing speed is 30 to 600 characters per second.  This printer is printing in both directions.

This printer is of two types depending on the quality.

  1. Near Latter Quality Printing: - In this printing, a letter is printed twice.  Its printing speed is slow.
  2. Draft Quality Printing: - It has normal printing.

Line Printer

There are three types of Line Printer based on printing.

  1. Band Printer: - This printer has a bend.  Which is called a printing bed.  Solid characters stick to it.  It contains hammers.  Which are controlled by computer.  A full print of the band once caused a line print.  They have clear and fast printing.
1.  Chain Printer: - This printer has a chain called a printing chain.  Solid characters stick to it.  It contains hammers.  Which are controlled by computer.  A line of peace is once filled with a line.  They have clear and fast printing.

Non-impact Printer: -
  1. Leaser Printer: - It is a non-impact page printer.  It has been used in computers since the 1970s.  Earlier these mainframes were used in computers.  They cost $ 3000 in the 1980s.  And at the same time, they started being used in microcomputers.  Nowadays it is the most popular printer.  Because their printing speed and quality are very good.
Laser Printer Xerography works based on technology.  Xerography technology was developed for the Xerox machine.  Xerography is a photography technique.  Which consists of film, a charged substance coated drum.  This drum photo is requested.  It prints the output on paper.

Procedure: -Printing in a laser printer is done by a laser beam, in which the laser beam is focused on a fading polygon mirror by the lens.  Where this laser beam of output is reflected and then focused on another mirror by the lens.  From where this beam falls and falls on the drum.  This ray casts the lines as a mark on the drum.  When this drum fumes.  So the toner sticks to the. charged places.  It then transfers to toner paper.  The output is printed on paper.  This output is temporary and it is passed through the hot roller to make it permanent.  By which this printing becomes permanent.

Most laser printers have microprocessors, RAM, and ROM.  The ROM consists of programs that organize fonts and pages.
Their printing quality ranges from 300 to 600 Dpi which is the best.  Colors can also be taken by this.  Its printing speed is high.  Its speed is measured in ppm.  Nowadays their price is low.  Has been.

2.InkJet Printer: - Inkjet printer is a non-impact printer.  In which the splashing of ink on paper from a nozzle is done, printing the characters and pictures.  The ink droplets in the print head nozzle are charged and released on the paper in the proper direction.  The printout of this printer is more clear.  Because it consists of many dots composed of letters.
