Network Types
There are three types of networks based on physical and geographical area.
- WAN
- LAN
- MAN
Ans:-Its full name is Wide Area Network.It is a large network in terms of area.This network is not limited to one building.In the lines of another company are hired.This is an expensive network.It consists of lane network.Through this,two different office are linked together,in which data is sent safely and received.
The features of WAN Network:-
They are connected through VPN connection.Its full name is virtual private network.
Q2. What is a LAN network? Local Area Network.
Ans:-It connects two or more computer and other devices.It is limited to one room or one building.It is a basic network.Computer are connected in different ways according to the requirement in the lane network.The process of interconnecting computer is called topology
The features of LAN Network:-
- It is limited to one room or one building.
- It is easy to maintain.
- It does not have to hire external networks.
- Data is safe in this.
- Its data transfer speed is fast.
Ans:-Through the network one city is connected to another city or from one country to another.It is a high speed network.It is made up of lane and vane network,in which satellite and fiber optical cavils are used,in which difficult types of network devices are used to connect the network.It is difficult to maintain.Which happens in collaboration with various companies.
Components of LAN network:-
- Media (Cable or connector)
- Computer
- Protocol
- NIC ( Network Interface card or LAN card)
Protocol:-There are some rules for communicating between different networks in a computer,which is called protocol.These rules are in the from of software.
NIC:-Its full name is network interface card.With this help,one computer is connected to another computer cable.It is the most important part of the network.
